This hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Kars gallery rug features three large-scale serrated lozenges with pole extenstions on either end dotted with complementary smaller versions. The field is composed of a geometric pattern of repeating diamond motifs forming a diamond latticework design. Double stepped ziggurats echoing the lozenge pattern extend from either end of the Oushak runner, adding depth and interest. It is framed with a serrated leaf and eight-point star border flanked with an inner saw-tooth and running water guard band.

Rendered in variegated shades of beige, sand, tan, ecru, camel, taupe, coffee, rose, and pink. The limited color palette based around warm earth-tone colors has a calming sensibility while pink accents add visual interest and a subtle color pop.
