This hand knotted wool vintage Khotan gallery rug features two stepped lozenge shaped medallions filled with floral rosettes. The two center medallions are enclosed by an expanding multi-level cut-out field composed of an orange diamond trellis design. Each corner spandrel is filled with a rectilinear leafy tendrils and a small and large rosette. It is enclosed with a series of geometric borders.
