77338 Antique Persian Heriz runner with Tudor Manor House style. This hand knotted wool antique Persian Heriz runner features an all-over stylized Herati pattern on an ivory field. The Herati pattern, also known as the Mahi or fish pattern, is among the most widespread and well known of all Persian designs, consisting of a flower centered in a diamond accompanied by curving lanceolate leaves that resemble fish. It is enclosed with an angular turtle and vine scroll Samovar border flanked with an inner and outer floral meander guard band. Perfect for a hallway, stair landing, open hall or long entry, kitchen, corridor, private library, den, mudroom, study, home office, sitting room, bathroom, grand foyer and designer entryway-- or it would make a lovely accent to a living room, bedroom, hotel lobby, or long vestibule.
