Description

76732 Antique-Worn Persian Farahan Rug, 05'00 x 10'00.

Weathered beauty meets rustic sensibility in this antique worn Persian Farahan rug. The intrinsic Herati design and traditional colors woven into this piece work together creating a relaxed organic vibe. In the center of the composition are three serrated lozenge medallions surrounded by an allover pattern composed of Herati motifs. It is framed with a classic Samovar turtle vine scroll border and floral meander guard borders. The no-fuss design aesthetic and time-softened colors in this distressed Persian rug work well with the rustic and refined look.

This antique Persian area rug displays desirable wear throughout, creating a lived-in look that is especially suitable for interiors with similar richness and rustic vibes including natural wood furnished chalets, estates, cottages, and mountainside abodes as found in Colorado, Lake Tahoe, Wyoming or the Adirondacks. The appeal of the distressed Persian rug lies in its imperfections and its original look is truly inimitable and one of a kind.
