This hand knotted wool contemporary Turkish Oushak area rug features an all-over geometric pattern composed of Harshang-style motifs, blooming lotus, palmettes, organic shapes, and meandering vines floating on an abrashed field. It is enclosed with a Harshang border flanked with an inner and outer subsidiary guard border. This new contemporary Turkish Oushak rug was made from the wool of an antique Kilim. The process starts from unraveling the wool from a 100 year old antique Kilim rug and ends with a new transformation into an Oushak rug.

• Rendered in variegated shades of beige, sand, tan, ecru, camel, taupe, flax, straw, oatmeal, khaki, champagne, coffee, glaucous, oyster gray, dove tail, denim, peach, rose, muted mauve, sage, celadon, olive, verdigris, and rust.
