This hand-knotted wool contemporary Berber Moroccan rug showcases a diamond trellis composed of smaller concentric lozenges. Fused red triangles criss-cross to form the large-scale diamond lattice spread across the field. Featuring olive green, brass, and mustard hues, the rich waves of abrash of painterly-like brush strokes and softly gradated striations run selvage to selvage blending seamlessly from one to the next. A simple square chain-link border frames the composition, giving it a sense of order and definition.
