The hand-carved floral design and monochromatic color palette woven into this piece work together resulting in a clean, crisp aesthetic. A coveted open field sets the scene for barely-there floral design as it seems to evanesce before one's eyes into the shimmery wool surface. The inconspicuous carved patterns of blossoming florals and roundels are set asymmetrically in opposite corners. The well-balanced asymmetry, spicy earth-tone colors and beautiful details solidify its Chinese Deco style and sleek form.
