Weathered charm meets rustic sensibility in this distressed antique-worrn Persian Mahal rug. The faded floral design and neutral earth-tone colors woven into this piece work together creating a curated lived-in look while imparting a sense of warmth and welcomed informality. An allover pattern composed of stylized florals, serrated leaves and angular vines cover the lovingly time-worn composition. It is framed with a Herati border and meandering boteh guard borders. With its rustic sensibility and muted earthy hues, this distressed Persian area rug would bring a sense of nostalgic charm to nearly any interior.
