Understated elegance meets Italian Nonna Chic in this vintage Persian Tabriz rug. The intricate floral design and earth-tone colors woven into this piece work together creating an atmosphere rooted in relaxed familiarity and inimitable warmth. Taking center stage is a cusped octofoil medallion anchored with palmette pendants at either end. A garland wreath of opulent frondescence and naturalistic florals radiate and from the corner spandrels and frame the central medallion. A classic palmette border and floral meandering guard borders create a lush enclosure. With its warm and inviting presence inspired by the homes of Italian grandmothers, this vintage Persian area rug emanated nostalgic charm and traditional sensibility.
