With a twist on traditional style, this hand-knotted wool Turkish Oushak area rug is polished and playful. The Oushak rug features a large-scale tri-color central lozenge medallion in an abrashed black field. An array of smaller-scale geometric shapes and tribal motifs create wonder. It is framed by a striated border filled with complementary large-scale abstract motifs flanked with an inner and outer guard border composed of alternating cruciform motifs and diagonal rectangle shapes.
