75860 vintage Persian Heriz rug with Modern English Cottage Tudor style. This hand knotted wool vintage Persian Heriz rug features a deeply captivating a large-scale cusped octofoil medallion filled with blooming palmettes and curled sickle leaves. The central octogram medallion is flanked with large palmette finials and surrounded by acanthus leaves, tulips, stylized floral, leafy tendrils, and organic shapes connected with angular vines on an abrashed field. Each corner spandrel is adorned with a large-scale blooming palmette embellished with smaller palmettes and lanceolate leaves on a creamy-beige backdrop. It is enclosed with a samovar turtle vine scroll border flanked with an inner and outer rosette guard band.
