Sophisticated elegance meets masculine appeal in this hand knotted wool vintage Tibetan Bijar rug. The nature-inspired design and traditional color palette woven into this piece work together creating a relaxed yet elevated feel such as American traditional or even Nautical chic. An intriguing allover pattern composed of stylized palmettes, delicate florals, angular vinery and unusual biomorphic formations are spaciously dispersed among the sultry navy blue field. A wide botanical border and inner floral meander guard border frame the composition creating cozy cohesiveness. The amorphous formations and rich earth-tone colors reveal an amalgamated affinity for its refined color juxtaposition. Imbued with naturalism and earthy hues, this vintage Tibetan rug has an element of the unexpected with an artful balance of asymmetry and prominent contours.
