This handwoven wool needlepoint vintage French Victorian style rug features a central medallion of pink cabbage roses rimmed in a pale mint colored rose wreath, accented with daffodil yellow roses. The central medallion rests on a cutout field of cream with overlapping crests and palmettes. Spandrels of lush floral bouquets in hues of mauve, light pink, rose, and red fade into a wide pale mint border. The Victorian style rug is framed with an outer border composed of meandering flowers and vines.
