It features a traditional, yet elegant composition characterized by an all-over pattern that unfolds with a balanced palette of beige, red and blue for a softened patina. Large geometric motifs and rosettes are backed by a time-softened rustic red border creating a compelling framework as it encloses this delicate floral theme on the beige field. Incorporating Persian design and a refined color palette, this antique Mahal rug radiates throughout making it easily appealing to a wide range of interiors. Age wear. Hand-knotted wool. Made in Persia (Iran). Measures: 08'06 x 10'02. Date: 1900 to 1910. Early 20th Century. Good Condition - Minor wear consistent with age and history.
