20989 Vintage Berber Boujad Moroccan Beni Mrirt Rug with Rustic Modern and Bohemian Style 06'09 x 12'04. Impressive design and charismatic colors provide a beautiful backdrop for this hand-knotted wool vintage Boujad Moroccan Beni Mrirt rug. It features lavender and gray colored ladder shaped lines running from the top to the bottom criss-crossing in a handsomely rugged manner, creating a balanced lozenge trellis. Each diamond is filled with eight-point stars, Burdock motifs, or secondary protection symbols within the all-over diamond lattice. It is enclosed with a three prong, cross, and snake motif border composed of male symbols. In Moroccan rugs, male motifs often appear on the outer portions of the composition, framing and enclosing the female motifs.
