74925 Vintage Turkish
Oushak Rug, 06'09 X 11'00.
This hand-knotted
wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug with modern tribal style features three
medallions each filled with stylized flowers and tribal motifs surrounded by an
allover pattern of geometric designs on a red field. The Oushak rug is framed by
an abrashed denim blue guard band composed of s-shape hook and enclosed by the
main border showcasing the tree of life and a riot of geometric symbols on a
red background. A thin ribbon border is on each vertical side of the Oushak
rug. Detailed with Fine contrasting black outlines, every element of the
composition is brought into sharp focus against the field adding dimension and
texture. Dynamic and full of character, this vintage Turkish Oushak rug makes a stunning focal point or a beautiful embellishing background piece.
