Oushak Kars Rug with Geometric Style in Warm Neutral Colors From Esmaili Rugs
Collection. This vintage Turkish Oushak Kars rug features an angular amulet
style medallion rendered in faded rust, slate, taupe, dove grey on a field of
abrashed sepia. Spandrels are cut out in a stair and wave pattern. Tiny
geometric flowers bloom from stems with primitive tribal look birds perched on
the tips. The Turkish Oushak Kars rug is bordered with a stylized flower and
meandering vine pattern. It is well-suited for a wide-range of interiors,
including the living room, bedroom, large study, home office, formal library
and sitting areas. Hand knotted wool. Made in Turkey. Measures: 05'08 X 09'05.
