Oushak Rug with Victorian Style and Saturated Colors 06'05 X 08'11.
This
hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug features a large cusped floral
center medallion with blooming palmette pendants floating on an abrashed ruby
red field. The corner spandrels outlined in acanthus leaves are filled with
large palmettes and stylized floral motifs. Tulips and leafy fronds cascade
across the golden camel main border, while a striped outer guard band and wave
scroll inner guard band add a simpler, yet elegant touch to the border scheme.
With its gorgeous, rich colors, fine detailing, and a classic design, this
stately vintage Turkish Oushak rug would bring a sense of drama and opulence to
any interior. Rendered in variegated shades of ruby red, crimson, cinnamon,
