hand-knotted wool vintage Chinese rug features an all-over floral lattice
pattern spread across an abrashed orange field. The lattice is comprised of a
dynamic arrangement of large palmettes, blooms, buds, rosettes and serrated
lanceolate leaves. The wide main border features alternating palmettes and
rosettes with curling leaves that echo the designs of the field, while delicate
floral meander guard borders add balance to the composition, offsetting the
large scale-designs that predominate. The bold color palette based around vivid
shades of orange and gold give the piece a warm, tropical feel. The sumptuous
