Description:-
30486 New Contemporary Moroccan Rug with Line Art Style and Abstract Expressionism 05'08 x 08'09. This hand knotted wool contemporary Moroccan area rug features a combination of line art style and Berber Tribe influence. Along the center, three stacked lozenges dominate while organic shapes fill in the open space on either side. It is enclosed with lines and dash marks. Though deceptively simple, this ambiguous design is steeped in Moroccan tradition. The tribal symbols of lozenges and diamonds with open ends, symbolize womanhood, fertility, and conception. The lines and dash marks along the sides represent the male. In Moroccan rugs, male motifs often appear on the outer portions of the composition, framing and enclosing the female motifs. This presentation can be seen as symbolizing fertility, as well as protection and the sanctuary of the family. The graphic appeal and beautiful details solidify its line art form and abstract expressionist style. This piece would be particularly at home in an interior inspired by Victor Pasmore or Cy Twombly. Perfect for adding organic tactile sensations to a bedroom, family room, living room, game room, playroom, nursery, studio, study, loft, or theatre room. Well-suited for a wide range of interior styles: Abstract Expressionist, Surrealism, Art Moderne, Contemporary, New Nordic, Scandi, Eclectic, Modern, Industrial, Bauhaus, Swedish, Scandinavian Modern, Danish Design, Hygge, Zen, Cubism, Abstract, Nomadic, Ethnic, Primitive, Tribal, Mid-Century Modern, Urban, and Loft interiors. It is finished with a variation of passementerie tassel fringe on either end. Rendered in variegated shades of beige, oatmeal, sand, flax, straw, coffee, espresso, rose, mauve, glaucous, bluish-grey, sand, tan, and ecru. Abrash. Hand-knotted wool. Made in India. Measures: 05'08 x 08'09. Brand New. In-Stock.
