Showcasing a bold expressive design, incredible detail and texture, this hand knitted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug is a captivating vision of woven beauty. The eye-catching geometric design and colorway woven into this piece work together creating a truly unique look. The abrashed field features an allover star pattern of large quatrefoil florets and small rosettes spread across an abrashed field. Small trefoil calyxes line the edges of the field, echoing the angular floral forms. The wide main border repeats the quatrefoil florets of the central area, accompanied by an outer rosette border, inner rectilinear meander border, and a series of barber’s pole listels.
- Rendered in variegated shades of gold, saffron, red, pink, apricot, light gray, taupe, beige, maroon, greige, and charcoal with other accent colors.
