Subtle spandrels filled with ancient Anatolian symbols: ear of grain, tulip, boteh, rosettes, wolf's mouth, and bird motifs in each corner. It is enclosed with a complementary border flanked with an inner ladder-comb guard stripe and a carnation meander outer guard.
