Nomadic charm meets Southwest style in this hand knotted wool vintage Persian Shiraz rug. The compelling tribal pattern and vibrant earth-tone colors woven into this piece work together creating a truly one-of-a-kind look. Three hooked medallions decorated with geometric shapes run along the center. The tribal symbols, animal figures, and ambiguous motifs further ornament the abrashed red field. Dark colored corner spandrels echo the medallions adding immense visual interest. An array of fascinating rectilinear design elements and attention to detail allows the viewer to continuously discover fascinating subjects within the piece.
