This exceptional hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug presents an enchanting interpretation of Anatolia’s centuries-old fascination with the garden as a symbol of cultivated life. Its open composition departs from the imposing medallions often associated with Oushak weaving, favoring an allover arrangement that feels poised, decorative, and remarkably sophisticated. Across the field, stylized palmette sprays unfold in orderly staggered rows, their fan-shaped leaves spreading outward from slender botanical stems.
