This hand knotted wool vintage Beni Mrirt Moroccan rug emanates function and versatility while staying true to the authentic spirit of Berber Tribe culture. Featuring earthy ocher and rust hues and dark rose tones, the rich waves of abrash of painterly-like brush strokes and softly gradated striations run selvage to selvage blending seamlessly from one to the next. It is enclosed with a Greek Key pattern border. Though deceptively simple, this beautiful vintage Moroccan rug is clearly laced with meaning and cultural significance.
