With its timeless style, incredible detail and texture, this hand knotted wool vintage Persian Bijar rug is a captivating vision of woven beauty. The eye-catching lattice design and sophisticated color palette work together creating a truly classic look. The abrashed navy blue field features an eight-point central medallion surrounded by a delicate filigree lattice pattern. The repetitious corner spandrels echo the central medallion. A Samovar border flanked with an inner and outer carnation meander guard band create a lush enclosure while giving it definition and a sense of order.
