73578 Antique Persian Malayer Rug Runner, 06'06 x 16'03.
Arts and Crafts style meets unpretentious and simple. This hand knotted wool antique Persian Malayer gallery rug features seven hexagonal medallions filled with Herati motifs floating on a low-contrast color palette. The background displays an all-over geometric pattern composed of repeating scorpion motifs forming a honeycomb latticework design. A crow's feet minor guard band surrounds the field. It is enclosed with a triple border composed of a leafy border flanked by an inner and outer carnation Meander guard border. The corner spandrels echo the hexagonal medallions.
- Rendered in variegated shades of camel, ecru, tan, taupe, sand, almond, beige, coffee, sienna, ink blue, navy blue, tangerine, orange, ruby red, and brick red with other accent colors.
