This hand-knotted wool vintage Berber Moroccan rug evokes imagery of power and majesty. Animated with Berber tribe motifs and secondary protection symbols, from diamonds within diamonds, eight-point stars, fused triangles to flowers, Burdock motifs and the Hamsa (camel track), this Moroccan rug symbolizes beauty, femininity, womanhood and a continuation of life. An orange colored zigzag border frames the vertical sides and a series of triangles in alternating colors frame the horizontal sides of the rug, tying together the different colors and patterns in solidarity.
