This hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak gallery rug features two oval medallions overlaid upon cusped eight-point florals anchored with trefoil pendants at either end. The medallions are patterned with rosettes, blooming palmettes, floral sprigs. Two eight-point florals dotted with rosettes float in the center of the abrashed field. Trefoil style spandrels patterned with palmettes and florals adorn each corner spandrel. It is enclosed with a floral border flanked with an inner running water guard band and an outer carnation meander guard border.
