Traditional Style 05’10 x 10’03 From Esmaili Rugs Collection. A vintage
Persian Mahal area rug with traditional style displays an all over geometric
flower design. The Persian Mahal rug features rows of stylized flowers rendered
in burgundy, sage, cream, blue and pumpkin orange on a field of deep oxblood
red. The Mahal area rug is bordered by a stylized vine and foliage pattern in
deep sapphire blue and banded with stylized rosettes and meandering vines. This
exquisite carpet exemplifies the Mahal style woven in Arak villages. Hand
knotted wool. Abrash. Age Wear. Made in Persia (Iran). Measures: 05'10 X 10'03.
