This hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug captures the cultivated grandeur of Anatolia through an exceptional composition shaped by centuries of courtly carpet tradition. An abrashed rust-colored field provides a warm, time-softened foundation for an expansive botanical display, its mellow tonal shifts imparting the coveted character associated with collected textiles. Generous spacing between the ornamentation gives the carpet an airy sophistication, allowing its monumental drawing to command attention without sacrificing serenity. At its heart floats a round scalloped medallion anchored by palmette pendants, establishing an elegant focal point within the open ground.
