Steeped in Anatolian history with incredible detail and texture, this hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug is a captivating vision of woven beauty. The eye-catching medallion design and traditional colors in this piece work together creating a truly classic look. The abrashed red field features a large-scale fround medallion outlined with angular vinery and decorated with ambiguous symbols. The central medallion is anchored with tribal pendants at either end and stylized floral extend from the the sides. Complementary corner spandrels echo the medallion design. It is enclosed with a rectilinear meander border flanked with an inner guard border.
