Vintage Turkish Oushak Rug, 04'10 x 08'03.
This hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug features a large lobed center
medallion with palmette pendants floating on an abrashed red field. Palmettes,
curling serrated leaves, rosettes and small leaflets decorate the corner
spandrels. Simple rosette meander guard borders flank a wide blossom and leaf
main border. A Turkish signature is woven in near the top of the field between
the two upper spandrels. Beautiful detailing and a warm color palette bring
this inviting Oushak rug’s traditional designs to life, making it a wonderfully
versatile piece that would add enchant to nearly any space.
