Drawing inspiration from Swedish simplicity and Gustavian grace, this hand knotted wool Turkish Oushak rug displays nostalgic charm and inimitable warmth. The abrashed tan field features two large-scale medallions decorated with stylized florals and foliage. It is enclosed with a repeating tribal motif border flanked with an inner and outer running dog guard band also known as a vitruvian scroll. With its timeless design and understated elegance, this vintage Turkish Oushak rug would bring a sense of nostalgic charm to nearly any interior.
