77212 Persian Shiraz Qashqai Rug with Tribal Style. This hand-knotted Persian Shiraz Qashqai Rug feels rich and sumptuous. Upon an abrashed ruby red field with zigzag edges this stunning Persian Shiraz Rug features two inner side borders forming four columns each topped with a horse head finial. Three hooks hang from above each head meanwhile the field is dominated by an all-over geometric design with birds, hyacinth, and trees of life. At its center the rug is anchored by a hooked rectilinear hexagonal medallion or stepped lozenge medallion with extended bird pole medallion. A charcoal colored panel at either end is filled with hexagonal motifs, hyacinth or tree of life, or blossom sprigs symbolizing youth and newlyweds, and a wine-colored ram's horn on an ivory backdrop. Decorated by one innermost border and multiple outer guard bands all surrounded a zigzag saw-tooth border in pumpkin and maroon. Perfect for a library, man cave, study, studio, living room, bedroom, dining room, front room, or family room.
