This opulent Persian Hamadan rug features a central floral medallion dotted with a cruciform and flanked by two ornate vases with stylized flowers. Spandrels echo the palette of the medallion; the Persian rug is bordered with a compound border patterned in geometric stylized flower designs. This Persian Hamadan rug is rendered in a jeweled palette of red, sapphire, saffron, mocha and ivory. Hand knotted wool. Made in Persia (Iran). Measures: 05'00 x 07'04.
