Description:-

76090 Vintage Persian Hamadan Rug, 05'02 x 06'08.

Rustic yet refined with incredible detail and texture, this hand knotted vintage Persian Hamadan rug is a captivating vision of woven beauty. The small-scale allover pattern and earthy colorway woven into this piece work together creating a truly classic look. A botanical design composed of repeating boteh motifs covers the abrashed brick red field. It is framed with a tribal style Shekeri border flanked with an inner and outer angular meander guard border. The ambiguous boteh symbol represents a sprouting seed and known as the seed of life. It represents potential for growth and regeneration. The rustic earth-tone colors and well-balanced biophilic design contribute to the overall magnificence of this vintage Persian rug.
