Emanating Scandinavian Modern design with incredible detail and texture, this handwoven Swedish rollakan rug is a captivating vision of woven beauty. The eye-catching geometric design and earthy colorway woven into this piece work together creating a truly one-of-a-kind look. A simplistic pattern of horizontal and perpendicular lines are dispersed across the composition. The superimposed olive green cross motifs and well-balanced asymmetry cultivate an esoteric juxtaposition among the geometric design. Softly gradated striations run selvage to selvage blending seamlessly from one to the next. An inconspicuous vertical band similar to the Parmak motif runs along the center. It is enclosed with a tonal maroon chevron border. With its earth-tone colors simple design aesthetic, this Swedish flatweave rug is engaging, yet well balanced.
