exquisite Persian Mahal rug with Traditional style features a row of five
amulets in alternating shades of deep persimmon and cream. The amulets rest on
a field of onyx with rows of stylized camels, doves and peacocks symbolizing
happiness, wealth and peace. Stylized flowers in mint, ice blue and ivory
interspersed with geometric rosettes cover the field. This opulent Mahal rug is
a rare example of the talented weavers of the Mahal villages and adds to any
living area. Hand knotted wool. Made in Persia (Iran). Measures: 05'01 X 10'00.
