20583 Vintage Berber Moroccan Rug with Tribal Style 4'01 x 7'10 From Esmaili Rugs Collection. Jet black sets the stage for diamonds colored in intense shades of yellow and red. The stark contrast of the colors woven into this Vintage Berber Moroccan rug creates a unique piece to add zest to nearly any room. Two diamonds in the center of the Berber Moroccan rug are shaded in a light blue and cream, which offset the intensity of the piece as a whole. The diamond shape that ornaments the entirety of the rug is a symbol in Ancient Berber culture which is known to predict a pregnancy. Motifs of femininity and reproduction are frequently seen in the rug designs produced by Ancient Berber rug makers. The rug is bordered by red and cream, incorporating colors from the center of the rug. Cream colored fringe hangs from the vertical sides, trimming the masterpiece to completion. Hand-knotted wool.
