Description:-
20598 Vintage Berber Moroccan Azilal Rug with Tribal Style 3'10 x 7'01 From Esmaili Rugs Collection. This vintage Berber Moroccan Azilal rug with tribal style is incredibly color-inclusive, allowing a myriad of beautiful colors to be showcased in this exquisite piece. Lavender, ash gray, hot pink, coral, and yellow gold are just a few of the colors featured in this Vintage Berber Moroccan Rug. The piece is brought together by the two geometric shapes in the center, which house a flurry of every color woven throughout the rug. Although the symbolism is subtle, it was not forgotten. Specifically, in the top right vertical corner, one can see the formation of an "X" shape within the design, which, in Ancient Berber culture, is known to symbolize the open arms and legs of a woman who is ready to conceive. Delicate white fringe hangs from the vertical side of the piece, adding extra ornament and flair. Hand-knotted wool. Made in Morocco. Berber Tribes of Morocco. Moroccan Azilal Rug. Measures: 03'10 x 07'01.
