73676 Vintage Persian Nain Rug with Romantic Baroque Style 04'00 X 06'03. With it's timeless elegance and regal charm, this elaborate hand-knotted wool and silk vintage Persian Nain rug truly embodies Baroque style. Taking center stage is a sixteen point trefoil medallion anchored with a trefoil pendant on either side and surrounded by densely patterned small flowers, leafy tendrils, arabesques of vines, lotus flowers, lilies, and palmettes contrasting beautifully on the navy blue field. Each corner spandrel is embellished with a heart shaped heart trefoil surrounded by star flowers and serrated leaves. Framing the vintage Persian rug are layered borders with large vases imbricrating the field. Leafy meander guard bands flanked with rope stripes add interest and depth.
