abrashed field. The oval medallion is surrounded by a wreath of delicate
floral sprigs and an oval band with four sets of garnished foliage. The
symmetrical placements of opulent frondescence around the center medallion
further compliment with its ornamentation. The spandrels in each corner echo
the medallion's floral pattern. Characterized by predominate French influence
with its ornate florals, the intricate borders of rinceaux and winding
arrangements of garnished foliage enclose this captivating work of art. The
embellishments alone are sufficiently captivating, but the use of color is
