Description:-
20510 Vintage Berber Moroccan Boucherouite Rug 04'00 x 05'02 From Esmaili Rugs Collection. This Vintage Berber Moroccan Boucherouite rug marries the vintage style of the Berbers and the look of a more modern piece. This Berber Boucherouite rug features a vibrant and diverse color scheme woven into a chevron pattern of vivacious color. The chevron pattern has great historical meaning in the history of Moroccan rug-making as a continuation of the range of feminine and reproductive symbolism displayed by Berber carpets. This Berber Moroccan rug’s chevron pattern alludes to a woman’s opened thighs and her readiness for conception. The orange-peach color creates a border around the piece. Soft colored fringe hangs from one of the vertical sides, framing the Moroccan rug and completing the masterpiece. The eye-catching design coupled with the intense color of this rug make for the perfect addition to a room in need of some character. Uniquely woven with recycled materials, such as cotton and wool, giving the rugs a colorful boho chic style. Boucherouite rugs are known as Moroccan rag rugs. Hand-knotted wool and cotton. Made in Morocco. Berber Tribes of Morocco. Measures: 04'00 x 05'02.
