This hand-knotted wool Turkmen rug features four vertical
columns of the Tekke gul with secondary cruciform (cross-like) guls used by
Turkoman tribes. Framed by Classic border composed of geometric motifs and tree
in alternating colors. The main border is flanked with a series of geometric
tribal guard bands and features end panels with lozenges and a cross-hatch
pattern. This antique Tekke accent rug is well-suited for nearly any interior
