Displaying primitive charm and nomadic tribal style, this hand knotted wool distressed antique Persian Azerbaijan runner is an amalgam of Caucasian tribal influence. The antique Persian runner features a hexagonal pole medallion with amulet medallions each patterned with a rosette roundel surrounded by tulip buds. The striped barber pole medallion is outlined with jagged spiked edges and each end flanked with an anchor pendant dotted with a large roundel rosette and peacock on either side. Enhanced by its geometric design and linear forms, this antique Persian runner beautifully showcases a weathered patina making nearly any interior feel both warm and cozy.
