77291 Vintage Turkish Oushak Rug Runner, 03'07 x 11'00.
This hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak hallway runner features three stacked lozenge medallions anchored with palmette finials floating in a sea of red abrash. The three lozenge medallions are filled with stylized palmettes and leafy tendrils in the shape of a cruciform cross-like motif. Four floral bouquets are equally placed in the open red field. The spandrels echoing the triple medallions are gracefully placed in each corner. The vintage Oushak carpet runner is framed with a compound border flanked with an inner and outer floral meander guard band.
Rendered in variegated shades of ruby red, scarlet red, red, brick red, rust, crimson, camel, tan, ecru, taupe, brown, coffee, wine, maroon, gray, light gray, rose, lemon verbena, sand, and beige with other accent colors. Abrash. Hand knotted wool. Made in Turkey. Measures: 03'07 x 11'00.
