Vintage Turkish Oushak Runner, Hallway Runner 03'09 X 10'02 From Esmaili Rugs
Collection. This hand-knotted wool antique-washed vintage Turkish Oushak
runner features three connected hexagonal medallions with interior palmette and
curled leaf designs adorned by ram’s horn pendants across an abrashed field.
Vase motifs with blooms fill each stepped corner spandrel. The main border
includes alternating ram’s horn and geometric flower motifs, while simple
running-water guard borders frame the composition. The soft washed-out colors
and a variety of traditional Anatolian symbols give this vintage Oushak runner
great graphic appeal while still exuding relaxed refinement. Rendered in
variegated shades of terra cotta, salmon, rust, camel, tan, ecru, beige, cream,
khaki, taupe, greige, pale blue, muted cornflower, sienna, pale pink, olive,
celadon, periwinkle, lavender, mauve and coffee. Perfect for a wide hallway,
