Description:-
20614 Vintage Berber Moroccan Runner with Tribal Style 3'01 x 6'10 From Esmaili Rugs Collection. This hand-knotted Vintage Berber Moroccan Runner stands out among other pieces. It is impossible for the eye to pass up the impassioned red that gives this piece life. Various hues of red, ranging from deep crimson to pink-coral, meld together to create a wonderful blend. Pink peeks through in a diamond shaped geometric pattern, which is known to be a symbol for predicting a pregnancy in Ancient Berber culture. Femininity and reproduction are two of the most prevalent motifs found in traditional Berber rug-making. The piece is beautifully complemented by the cool colored trim that borders the vertical sides, as it contrasts the intensity of the red hues. Hand-knotted. Made in Morocco. Berber Tribes of Morocco. Measures: 03'01 x 06'10.
