52706 Vintage Turkish Oushak Rug with a Rustic Arts and Crafts Style 03'04 x 05'07. With a traditional medallion design and subdued elegance, this hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug embraces a rustic Arts and Crafts style. It features a cusped central medallion outlined with curled Ram's Horn lines and anchored with a floral Iris pendant at either end. The central medallion is patterned inside with a botanical pattern composed of a serrated cypress trees, curved sickle leaves, and leafy tendrils on an abrashed soft red backdrop. Complementary spandrels echoing the medallion's design grace each corner. Rectangular end caps are outlined with a thin barber pole stripe and filled with a meander floral design adding visual interest and depth. It is enclosed with a Rhodian Lily and Iris floral meander border flanked with an inner and outer guard band and subsidiary sawtooth stripes. Perfect for an entry, stair landing, kitchen, corridor, private library, den, mudroom, study, home office, sitting room, master bathroom, grand foyer and designer entryway, or it would make a lovely accent to a living room, bedroom, hotel lobby, or long vestibule.
